Dan

Dan

AKA Uber Trader

Hi, I'm Dan – although if you've spent any time around the trading community, you'll probably know me better as Uber Trader. By day (well... formerly!), I was an engineer. After years of solving problems, building systems, and thinking logically, I discovered that those same skills translated surprisingly well into the financial markets.

These days I'm semi-retired from engineering and spend my time doing what I genuinely enjoy most—trading, teaching, and helping others improve. I've been involved in the trading world for around six years, but if I'm honest, the first few years were a lot of trial, error, and expensive lessons. Like most traders, I quickly realised there are no shortcuts.

It wasn't until the last two years that I fully committed to treating trading like a business rather than a hobby. That commitment paid off. I've now been consistently profitable for the last 18 months, and it's completely changed the way I approach both trading and life.

Away from the charts, I'm happily married and a proud dad of two amazing kids, who definitely do a good job of reminding me that not everything revolves around liquidity sweeps and fair value gaps!

I co-founded SigLab because I wanted to build the community I wish I'd found when I started—one that's honest, supportive, focused on education, and free from the usual social media hype. My goal isn't to promise overnight success; it's to help people develop real skills, think independently, and become consistently better traders over time.

When I'm not analysing the markets, you'll usually find me coaching both of my kids' football teams, playing a few rounds of golf, spending time with my family, creating educational content, or enjoying a good coffee while planning the next trading session. If you've joined SigLab, welcome. Whether you're brand new or already experienced, I hope you'll learn something, enjoy the journey, and maybe even have a laugh along the way.

See you in the charts!

Craig

Craig

AKA GardFx

Hi, I’m Craig—though in the trading world, you probably know me as GardFx. Like a lot of people, my trading journey started when the world shut down in 2019 and 2020. Locked inside during the pandemic and looking for an escape, I turned to the financial markets. I started out wrestling with Gold, dabbling in crypto, and trading major pairs like EUR/USD and GBP/USD.

Honestly? Those early days were tough. I couldn't find a system that actually worked, mostly because everything out there seemed purposely overcomplicated. I struggled to make it click.

But over the years, I’ve worn a lot of hats: electrical and AC engineer, business owner, and coder. When you spend your life diagnosing electrical systems and building automated scripts, you learn how to break down complex problems and find the most logical, efficient solution. Eventually, I applied that exact mindset to the markets. Through relentless networking and trial-and-error, I stripped away the noise, learned a solid strategy, and finally created my own system.

As things started to fall into place, I leaned heavily into my coding background. I built custom EAs (Expert Advisors) and indicators, eventually running a group where I sold copy-trading systems to help grow people's portfolios. It was highly successful, but managing multiple accounts and other people's trades was exhausting work. I realised I needed to slow down the community, step back, and focus on myself.

That’s exactly when I connected with Alex, Jack, and the rest of the team. We realised we all shared the exact same vision: to cut the industry BS and build the best, most transparent community out there. That was the birthplace of SigLab Trading. Today, my goal is simple—I want to take all the skills, coding tools, and life lessons I’ve gathered over the years and share them with you, for free.

If I can leave you with one defining piece of advice, it’s this: master your mindset, respect risk management, and embrace simplicity. To quote my own trading philosophy: "Life does not need to be complicated—the easier we make it, the easier we all profit."

Away from the charts, I’m 39 years old and a dedicated family man. When I'm not firing up the 3D printer or tweaking a piece of code, you’ll usually find me watching rugby or football, going on holidays and trying to squeeze in a few rounds of golf, and fueling my trading sessions with iced tea and coffee.

Jack

Jack

Co-Founder / Analyst

At 33, I’m living a life I never imagined when I first picked up a set of tools as a heavy plant mechanic. Back then, my world revolved around engines, hydraulics, and long days on-site. I loved the work — the challenge, the precision, the satisfaction of fixing something that others couldn’t. But deep down, I knew I wanted more freedom, more control, and a future I could build on my own terms.

That’s when trading entered my life.

Three years later, I’m a consistently profitable trader with a mindset shaped by discipline, structure, and the grit I learned in the workshop. Trading didn’t come easy. It demanded patience, emotional control, and a willingness to fail forward. But every chart I studied, every journal entry I wrote, and every lesson I learned pushed me closer to the trader I am today.

Now, as a father, my purpose is even clearer. I trade not just for myself, but to build a future where my family has options, stability, and freedom. My journey proves that you can reinvent yourself at any age — and that the skills you learn in one chapter of life can become your greatest strengths in the next.
